Episode 10 - The Six Stages of Life

I grew up thinking and believing that life consisted of 6 stages.

1. You go to school

2. You go to university.

3. You get a job.

4. You get married.

5. You have children.

6. You pass.

At stage 4, your life is no longer about you as you would 'become responsible' for how your 'other half' feels, what he/she does or doesn't do.

At stage 5 your life would practically be over and is now dedicated to the 'other people' in your life.

You no longer matter!

The only purpose you serve is to EXIST for your kids, your job, your husband, and occasionally for yourself by having a haircut or drinking to numb the pain of no longer 'having a life'.

Is this the life you were dreaming of?

Of course not! 

This episode is all about how you are conditioned to live your life this way, but also what you can do to break away from this way of thinking and being.
