Episode 145 - How To Stop Worrying About the Future

Today, we are talking about how to stop worrying about the uncertainty about the future.

I gave 6 different ways to train your brain to stop focusing on the unwanted future and start focusing on now. This will give you more control of the situation and help you deal with it much better now and in the future.

1. Accept that the uncertainty exists and stop resisting it, thinking about it and ruling your life!

2. Once you accept the situation, you'll feel more in control and you can tell your mind to STOP worrying and focus on something more productive like taking action towards the outcome you want. 

3. Focus on the outcome you want - Most people focus on unwanted scenarios which makes anxiety about the future worse. 

4. Connect with your purpose - the thing that drives you and inspires you from within (not the thing that everyone else keeps saying you should do because they are doing it) 

5. Make some things certain when working towards your purpose- with the habits you choose, your daily routine etc, to help your brain have the comfort it is seeking.

6. Spend 5 minutes a day to focus on your vision and how you'll feel when everything works out exactly the way you want it. This is how athletes prepare for their big wins.
